Whiteboard video

Communication through whiteboard video

Our whiteboard videos take two styles.

  • Safety communications using the International Standards Organisation (ISO) safety standards.
  • Video communicating our brand and publicity.

Safety communications

Brand and publicity

Safety videos

Form and Function

Here’s an example of a safety video.

Our boating videos speak to people on many types of waterways and in many types of locations, for example the BSS CO videos manage to balance all the necessary situational visual cues such as moorings, proximity to other boats, etc. without any geophysical features and therefore their universality is sustained.

It’s those qualities that help in our mission to make our messages relevant to boaters on rivers, canals, broads, lakes, locks, tideways, and even coastal boating.

You should supply videos in all formats for use across social media, presentations, web, and in native Adobe Illustrator.

Brand and publicity

Form and Function

Here’s an example of a brand video.

Our brand videos communicate information around the brand and business.

Utilising simple graphics (see Illustration section) within your whiteboard videos will help create subject specific messaging around the brand. Talking to your audience with easy to understand imagery and word/sub titles is essential in gaining their attention.

Use our voice and tone (see The Brand Safety Scheme Section) in all your communications.

With our brand and publicity videos you have more freedom to be creative. Remember to pay attention to what our colours represent (see Our Colours Section) when creating as they form the true essence of the BSS.

Quality

You should supply videos in all formats for use across social media, presentations, web, and in native Adobe Illustrator.

Quality is key. Always remember to represent the true qualities and values of the BSS in your work.

Be innovative and creative in all your communications.

Remember your audience, be clear and concise in every frame or scene. Be inclusive, see The Boat Safety Scheme Section.

Finally, think how you could communicate the video story on social media and in print.

We always like to use our marketing collateral across as many channels as possible – saving costs along the way.
